Gastric resin (E 100/PO)

Gastric glazing agent/coating agent. Also used as a taste masking and moisture protection agent.
Sometimes it can be used to forming a solid solution via hot melt extrusion, to increase the dissolution rate and bioavailability of BCS class II Drugs.
